CPP rejects Local Government Ordinance, 2012.

(ATTOCK – September 08, 2012)          Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) has rejected Local Government Ordinance, 2012 which has been promulgated in Sindh province. The CPP Central Chairman, Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik vehemently stressed and said that this ordinance is an act to divide sindhis and non-sindhis in Sindh province and which benefits only MQM.

MQM is not a mainstream political party, it represents only a limited ethnic group.

A democratic government should not have done this being or symbol of federation. It would be better option if the parliament had recommended its.

This ordinance is fully dictatorial one, it is disputed and objectionable. Communist Party of Pakistan is not against the local body system. It is a principal stand of CPP that such type of Local Body system should have been introduced in Sindh and all country which would be unanimously accepted by the entire nationalist, communists, political and other religious parties.

This ordinance is implemented only to appease a party which has been involved in heinous crimes such as target killings, abduction for ransom and bhatta collection in Karachi. It is an open secret for all of us.

Moreover this step of PPP is malicious and anti democratic.
