Chairman of the Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik strongly condemned the firing and throwing of stones on the peaceful procession and Azadi March of Imran Khan and on the container of Imran Khan in Gujranwala by the workers of Pakistan Muslim League (N) in the presence of Punjab Police.
This action by the workers of PMLN cannot be done without the consent of the Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali. CPP Chairman urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to immediately take suo motu notice of this brutal action of the workers of PMLN and the CPP demanded from the Supreme Court that the culprits should be given exemplary punishment in the interest of justice.
