CPP strongly condemned the military take over in Egypt.

We being communist are politically against the ideology of Ikhwanul Muslimin and President Mohammed Morsi but inpsite of these reservations, we strongly condemned the removal of President Mohammed Morsi by Egypt’s Army. General Abdul Fattah al-Sisi also suspended the constitution illegally and unlawfully.

We also condemned the action of Judiciary for siding with military dictator General Abdul Fattah al-Sisi. The chief justice Adli Mansour of Egypt’s supreme constitutional court, took his oath of office of President unlawfully and in colourable exercise of powers under an army transition plan during a ceremony that was broadcast live on state television just half an hour back.

We appeal to all the communists, progressive and democratic forces where they are to strongly oppose the military rule in Egypt says the CPP Chairman Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik in his tweet message.
