On July 5, 1977 the military dictator General Zia-ul-Haq overthrown the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) regime of Premier Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and hanged Bhutto but surprisingly the daughter of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and his party allowed all those political persons in PPP who were strong supporters of Zia dictator and were in league with Zia for hanging of Bhutto.
