The CPP’s position on the merger of 3 left democratic parties in Pakistan.
Dear Comrades and Friends! It is to clarify here on this forum that the Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) is a registered political party under the Article 17 of the Constitution of Pakistan, 1973 and Political Parties Order, 2002 with the Election Commission of Pakistan, Islamabad and the views expressed by my friend Dr. Shafiq Ahmad Coordinator, International department on the subject “The CPP’s position on the merger of 3 left democratic parties in Pakistan” in its message at https://www.facebook.com/pages/CP-Pakistan-OFFICIAL/301654829893489 is not CPP political view.
This political analysis is by that CPP, which is not registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan as a political party and so it is necessary for us to clarify here that the CPP, which is a registered political party has no concern with the political analysis as expressed by Dr. Shafiq Ahmad.
What is CPP political opinion about the merger of 3 left democratic parties; it is none of our political business to interfere in other political parties. Every political party registered with the Election Commission of Pakistan is free to do whatever that political party feels best.
However, as and when necessary, the CPP would give its political analysis but not at this stage, which is a premature stage and interference in the affairs of other political parties.
The CPP in its Central Committee Meeting held under the chairman ship of Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik on 7th of October, 2012 in Islamabad Sub-Secretariat of CPP at House No. 377, Street No. 89, G-9/4 has categorically decided to contest the coming General Elections independently on the platform and symbol of CPP on two point agenda first to fight against the naked aggression of American Imperialism and secondly to build Pakistan a Socialist Country and defend the Socialist and Communist Ideology openly and publically. With regards to all comrades and friends here on this forum.
