(ISLAMABAD – January 09, 2013) Communist Party of Pakistan (CPP) through its Central Chairman, Engineer Jameel Ahmad Malik today moved the Supreme Court against Qadri’s long march under Articles 184(3) and 17 of the Constitution of Pakistan, 1973 read with section 1 of Societies Registration Act, 1860. CPP in its petition wrote that Minhaj-ul-Quran is not a political party but it is an NGO which was registered in 1981 under section 1 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and according to its constitution, no NGO can participate in politics nor it can held a procession, nor it can give call for long march or strike.
CPP Chairman further said in petition that any political party under Article 17 of the Constitution of Pakistan can do long march to Islamabad but Constitution of Pakistan prohibit the NGO’s like Minha-ul-Quran to give call for long march and to act like a political party.
He said that Qadri is working on foreign agenda and its long march is a conspiracy against democracy and coming general elections and it is the right time where Supreme Court (SC) should exercise its inheritance powers and restrained Qadri to cancel its long march failing which, legal action be taken against Qadri.
CPP demands from the SC and government to immediately cancel the registration of Minhaj-ul-Quran as NGO, so that in future, no NGO can interfere in state affairs or use public for its political interest.
People like Tahir-ul-Qadri work only to weaken Pakistan and people has been called in Minar-e-Pakistan rally in the name of Islam only.
Qadri is a Canadian citizen and every Canadian citizen takes oath of British Queen’s loyalty submission. It is very tragic moment for all the religious scholars that the great scholar and Sheikh-ul-Islam has taken the oath of allegiance of Queen who cannot be at any cost loyal to Pakistan and Islam.
Which type of Sheikh-ul-Islam is he, when he on one hand loyal to Dictators General Zia and Musharraf and on other hand has taken the oath of allegiance of Queen?
Even otherwise, those rulers who were dual National have always harmed Pakistan. People here in Pakistan owe facing crisis of gas, load shedding, water and other basic facilities and these imported person causes anarchy and turmoil in Pakistan and then fly away from the country. An example of Shaukat Aziz is before us.
Now Qadri along with Altaf Hussain is playing another drama of “Safar-e- Inqalaab”. It is very astonishing that instead of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), he is using the name of Minhaj-ul-Quran to deceit the public and to complete his heinous agenda.
CPP has made Qadri, Minhaj-ul-Quran, Federal Government, Peoples Party, MQM, ANP, PAT, Muslim Leaque (N), Jamaat-i-Islami and others as party in his petition and said that Supreme Court is the right forum to give its verdict on long march.
